Our History

Launched in 2005, Breakfast Clubs of Canada builds on 15 years of success and experience of the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec (Quebec Breakfast Club), which serves more than 2.1 breakfasts to Quebec schoolchildren annually. The Quebec Breakfast Club program was recognized by the United Nations World Food Programme. It is the model Breakfast Clubs of Canada promotes for other programs elsewhere in Canada.

Breakfast Clubs of Canada saw the need for school breakfast programs all across Canada. We are currently developing breakfast programs around the country. We are also present in Aboriginal communities.

In 2008, Breakfast Clubs of Canada helped serve over 30 million breakfasts and more than 200,000 children in 2,000 school breakfast programs across Canada.
