Our History

Launched in 2005, Breakfast Clubs of Canada builds on 15 years of success and experience of the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec (Quebec Breakfast Club), which serves more than 2.1 million breakfasts to Quebec schoolchildren annually. The Quebec Breakfast Club program was recognized by the United Nations World Food Programme. It is the model Breakfast Clubs of Canada promotes for other programs elsewhere in Canada.

Breakfast Clubs of Canada saw the need for school breakfast programs all across Canada. We are currently developing breakfast programs around the country. We are also present in Aboriginal communities.

Last year, Breakfast Clubs of Canada helped serve over 29 million breakfasts and over 181,000 children in hundreds of school breakfast programs across Canada.
